  • Door Prizes:
  • Door Prizes will be given out throughout Conference
  • Drawn from tickets given to each Registered Attendee, Sponsor & Exhibitor (Community NOT included)
  • Final Door Prize, largest valued prize, given at Closing Session on Thursday (Must be present to win)
  • Door Prizes come from donations from organizations throughout the state of Kansas
  • Door Prize Donors listed in front of Conference Program and on Conference website

  • Marketing Conference Throughout Kansas:
  • Use template from Topeka & Shawnee County Senior Health Fair & Symposium held on October 7, 2012
  • TV, Radio & Newspaper Advertising:
  • Use In-Kind Donations from TV Stations, Radio Stations & Newspapers throughout Kansas
  • Will partner with one TV, Radio & Newspaper Sponsor in each market as Patron Sponsor for Conference
  • Will also partner with Public TV and Radio whenever possible
  • Will produce seven television commercials & three radio commercials to distribute throughout Kansas
  • Television commercials consist of 3- :30 second spots, 2- :15 second spots & 2- :10 second spots
  • All Patron & Sponsor Level Sponsors for Conference will have logos shown at end of each TV commercial
  • Will tailor each TV commercial to include logos specific to their market; also include statewide Patron & Sponsor level Sponsors that apply
  • Radio commercials consist of 3- :30 second spots & 2- :10 second spots
  • Contact all major newspapers throughout Kansas to place ads for Conference

  • TV, Radio & Newspaper Interviews:
  • Multiple TV interviews with all TV partners in Kansas
  • Multiple Radio interviews with all Radio Partners in Kansas
  • Provide Newspaper interviews with Kansas newspapers
  • Team-Based Care Competitions
    Team Competitions on Team-Based Care
  • First Competition: Which Teams demonstrate the Best Team-Based Care in Kansas today
  • Attendees can learn lessons from those competing that they can take back and integrate in their communities
  • All Professionals, Providers, Sponsors, Exhibitors & Volunteers registered for the Conference are eligible for Competition
  • Second Competition: Who has "Best Ideas" and innovation for developing Team-Based Care
  • Third Competition: Best Team-Based Implementation in next 12 months before 2014 Conference

  • Competition #1: Before Conference “Best Team-Based Care” Competition
  • Who has best Team-Based Care already in practice?
  • Fill out "Team-Based Care Competition" Application located on our Conference website after Login
  • We will award prizes to the Top Three Teams for "Team-Based Care Competition" in Kansas
  • We will discuss existing, innovative solutions from five Teams from Kansas at Wednesday's Opening Session, and award the Top Three Teams
  • All submitted Forms will be available for view on website & at the Conference

  • Competition #2: During Conference "Developing Team-Based Care” Competition
  • Looking for best innovative ideas for implementing Team-Based Care in Kansas
  • Will use Email & Social Media to interact with attendees during Conference
  • Will submit questionnaire via Email & Social Media on Wednesday at Conference
  • Those eligible have until 6:00 PM Wednesday evening to reply
  • Thursday's Opening Session will be a panel discussion on Best Innovative Ideas on Team-Based Care
  • Top Three Winners will be announced at Thursday's Opening Session
  • We will discuss models for Attendees to implement Team-Based Care in your communities

  • Competition #3: Following Conference "Best Team-Based Care Implementation"
  • Which Teams in Kansas can implement the Best Team-Based Care in their communities in next 12 months
  • Teams must register on Conference website by March 31, 2013, to be part of competition
  • Will get 6-month update from Teams in November 2013 at Local & Regional Symposiums & Health Fairs
  • Winners announced at 2014 Kansas Conference on Aging
